Marriage and Relationship Counseling

Marriage Factors of everyday life can put a heavy strain on a relationship.  Severe stressors may include resentment, infidelity, intimacy issues, lack of trust and miscommunication.  When problems go unresolved, or if there is mental illness or health complications, one can feel helpless or hopeless and have feelings of guilt or shame.

Couples often seek counseling when the relationship is at a standstill, or if they are unsure whether the relationship is worth investing their energy in saving it. There may be children involved that have been affected as well.

Therapy provides a place where couples can work toward building a renewed trust and a stronger connection with each other. Learning to acknowledge each other’s hurts and communicating effectively can alleviate emotional anxiety and tension from issues of all kinds.

Counseling in a non-judgmental setting would help the couple improve:

  • Trust
  • Mutual Respect
  • Communication
  • Mindfulness
  • Intimacy

If your marriage or relationship needs intensive work, or if just needs a refreshing touch, counseling is helpful to increase self-awareness and growth in each partner.
